Cosmetic Description: 8/10 Excellent condition with minimal visible cosmetic wear including a tiny nick on the front edge of the plinth near the power switch and scratches on the platter. The power supply has some scuffs on the top surface and the dust cover shows some scuffs and scratches as well. Outstanding condition overall - the condition will please even the most discerning audiophile.

Krystal features a similar approach to minimising mass as Kandid, using a nude design to give the cartridge less inertia so it can react more quickly to the changes in the groove. It also uses the triple-point mounting system for a solid connection to the tonearm headshell, while the aircraft grade 7075 aluminium chassis provides a lightweight, stiff and stable platform for the generator.

The RB2000 uses improved bearings with each one being hand selected to be an interference fit with the paired spindle matching both the inside and outside diameters. This is a Rega developed method of increasing the amount of detail retrieved from the record surface, designed specifically to maximise performance of the tonearm and cartridge.
