Other Notes: This antique amplifier from 1949 is one of the first creations under the venerable McIntosh name. It is a mono amplifier capable of 15W into 8Ω, and the included output plug is also available for the future owner to wire it for a speaker of a different impedance. Photos show the plug in place with some standard speaker cable attached. The chassis is labeled "Eng. Lab., Inc. Silver Spring, MD". This is a true collector's item and unique piece of audiophile history.
