To expand on the Tribe III’s phenomenal success, Totem is introducing the Tribe V, the next evolutionary step toward on-wall perfection. Featuring the Totem’s Torrent™ driver, the Tribe V provides the highest caliber on-wall performance available.

The Tribe V powerful drivers provide energy, quickness, bass and articulation beyond anything made. New compact high-efficiency exotic alloy tweeter with 3/8-inch thick aluminum faceplate completes the equation. Its 8-ohm easy impedance load along with its earth shattering resolution and wickedly deep and tight bass (down to low 30’s) will make the Tribe V the ultimate center unit and the world’s finest architectural speaker.

Totem’s Exclusive Design
Torrent hand-assembled drivers feature machined precision craftsmanship and revolutionary magnetic technology. The proprietary magnetic design keeps the voice coil continuously immersed within the magnetic field for absolute and instant control of its every reaction. These woofers possess such wide and flat response that they remarkably require absolutely no active or passive crossover components. This radical technology offers an unadulterated flow of information and energy for substantial advantages in clarity, phase correctness, and striking accuracy both on and off axis.

Handmade Crossovers
With Point-to-Point Connections
Totem crossovers don’t require many parts because of the synergy between our customized drivers, but the components are the world’s best. Our crossovers aren’t built on PCB’s because the laminated conductive tracks are weak and inconsistent. Instead they are secured to a thin piece of fiberboard or insulated polymers and components are mechanically crimped together because it simply sounds better. When we must solder, we choose WBT Silver Solder, the purest in the industry.

Artisanal Cabinet Construction
Master Craftsman Woodwork
Tribe enclosures are not built with the mass production method of the competition but with the artisanal attention of a master furniture craftsman. The slim enclosures are composed of Variable Density Fiberboard, which is denser at the extremities than the interior to reduce repetitive nodes and resonances. Each is meticulously hand assembled for peak performance that lasts decades.

Gold Plated Bi-Wire / Bi-Amp
Two sets of high conductivity gold plated connectors efficiently capture the incoming signal for superior speaker performance and allow traditional, bi-wire, or even bi-amplification options. They accommodate a variety of connection options such as bare wire, banana plugs, and spades.

Flush Mount Wall Bracket
Clean, Easy Installation
The included bracket installs easily, firmly holds the speaker flush to the wall, and allows for both vertical and horizontal orientation.
