"The Focal Chora 816 are a dynamic, balanced, and outright fun pair of small floorstanding speakers. They handle a wide range of source material with finesse. They may not have the extreme midrange detail of some flagship bookshelf options in this price range, but they are by far one of the best sounding floorstanders under $2,000 I have ever had experience with. They are also easily powered by a wide range of amplifiers, although I would stick with amps that tend neutral to warm, as a brighter, leaner amp, may not play to the speaker’s strengths.
