Offered today by The Music Room: One McIntosh MC162 Amplifier. This unit is coming from the original owner with little to no actual use. It was installed in a rack as part of a very large, custom whole-home system. This amp was to run a pair of speakers in one room. There were about 10 other McIntosh components in that system (including another MC162 and two MC206 amps), and none of them were ever used as the system was never completed. This unit sat on a rack-shelf for about a year before the owner decided to go another direction with the system, and everything taken out of the rack and put back in the original boxes.

Cosmetic condition rating is 8/10 - Excellent overall appearance. The faceplate appears flawless and all lights are working. Under bright lights and critical examination, we can see that here are some very minor blemishes on the silver trim pieces and very light wear on the case.
