Celestion Ditton 442 Vintage 3-way Speakers; Refinished / New Grill Cloth

These speakers came to us from the original owner with some minor cosmetic issues. There were a few light scratches on the cabinets, and the grill cloth was in poor condition. We took them to Schott in the Dark Speaker Restoration here in Denver to have them brought back to life. He did a great job, and these classic beauties now look as great as they sound. New grill cloth was added and the pins for the grills were replaced so that they now fit nice and snug and secure. The cabinets were given a light sanding and refinishing - they look great. Of course, the speakers are working perfectly... sound quality is superb.

If you get up closely and look the cabinets over, you can still see where there were some scratches... but running your hands over the cabinets you can not feel them. From 3-4 feet away, the speakers present as new condition. Overall appearance is outstanding - see photos for details.
