Naim NAC 152-XS Preamplifier Product Description: 

The NAC 152 XS, successor to the NAC 122x, draws inspiration from its esteemed predecessor, the NAC 202. Engineered with meticulous attention to detail, it boasts a hardwired motorized Alps volume control potentiometer, elevating performance and minimizing operational noise. The six DIN inputs, now relay switched, enhance overall efficiency and fidelity. Extensive efforts in design focus on minimizing resonance in both the casework and PCB, while effectively shielding the PCB from environmental interference.

Setting a new standard, the NAC 152 XS is equipped with an additional stereo output via two RCA sockets, tailored for seamless integration with active subwoofers, catering to the growing trend of 2.1 audio systems. Its rear panel layout mirrors that of the NAC 202, ensuring compatibility with Fraim setups. Powering options abound; it can draw power from the preamp outputs of the NAP 155 XS or NAP 200, or be enhanced with the addition of a FlatCap XS or HiCap power supply. Furthermore, one of its DIN inputs is capable of powering a Naim Audio StageLine outboard phono stage, providing versatility and convenience for discerning audiophiles.
