The Halo JC 5 is Parasound's new, ultra-high performance, 400 watt per channel, Class A/AB, stereo power amplifier. We are very proud of this latest achievement of Parasound engineering in concert with legendary audio equipment designer John Curl. 

Parasound’s reason for developing the JC 5

The Halo JC 1 mono block, designed by John Curl, is universally recognized as a pinnacle of amplifier performance and value. Its exceptional quality has been acknowledged by Stereophile, which awarded it the 2003 Amplifier of the Year and has consistently listed it as a Class A Recommended Component for an unprecedented fifteen years, a record unmatched by any other audio product. Recognizing the demand for an alternative, Parasound's customers and dealers worldwide have long requested a John Curl-designed Halo stereo power amplifier that would offer both space and cost savings. Rising to this challenge, Parasound tasked John Curl with encapsulating the essence of the renowned JC 1 mono blocks into a single chassis stereo amplifier, aiming to deliver similar excellence at a more accessible price point.
