Yes, 2020 has been crazy, and yes we are hiring despite it all!
We approached 2020 with a bullish plan to continue the aggressive growth trajectory that earned us a place on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in America in 2019. The first part of this plan involves a massive addition to our current building with a 200% increase in warehouse space. The second part of our growth strategy is even harder than building a massive warehouse- finding the right people to grow our team.
We were uncertain when COVID-19 started to dominate the news of what would happen to the economy, and specifically what might happen to the HiFi market. These unprecedented times have brought many challenges but they have also affirmed how strong our business model is. The customers we serve are enjoying their HiFi hobby now more than ever as they stay at home, but as we all face economic uncertainty, they are looking for more value for their musical dollar. This is the promise that The Music Room has always been driven to deliver.
From our humble beginnings operating out of a garage in the wake of the 2008 recession, we knew our business needed to disrupt the old way of selling HiFi gear. We were relentless about finding the most time and cost-efficient processes to deliver great value and build trust with our customers. 10 years later we have become the largest and most trusted source for pre-owned HiFi equipment in the world.
Knowing that COVID-19 and the fragile economy are not slowing us down, we are working tirelessly to continue growing our team. We believe that finding the right people has always been and will continue to be a key to our success.
