The gateway to the Norse Series, the Heimdall 2 power cable carries the torch for Nordost’s most advanced technologies, and delivers price-disruptive performance. Heimdall 2 removes a shroud around your system, releasing the missing potential of your existing electronics.
The proprietary Micro MonoFilament assembly method creates a dielectric that is 80% air. The “filament” is a strand of FEP that suspends the silver plated OFC conductors inside oversized inert tubes. The result is ideal electrical characteristics for a power cable, providing ultra-fast, low impedance power transfer.
Nordost groups these tubed conductors in a mechanically controlled orientation which optimizes the magnetic field and helps dissipate mechanical energy along the cable.
Heimdall 2 mates perfectly with the Frey 2 and Tyr 2 cables in the Norse series, and the use of consistent technology and materials across a system can enhance effects and support synergy. Norse 2 allows you to easily build a coherent cable solution, no matter the system.
