Nordost Blue Heaven Tonearm Cable + Product Description:
Blue Heaven is the first tier in the Leif Series for tonearm cables
“With the Blue Heaven installed music had substantially more clarity, more detail, more refinement, more dynamic contrast, and more musicality.” - Positive Feedback
One of the most delicate links in the audio chain, the tonearm cable is unique in its influence in the eventual sound of an analog setup. The signals it carries are minuscule, and they demand a purpose-built, low capacitance pathway utilizing advanced shielding techniques to maximize the organic and visceral reproduction that vinyl can offer.
The Tonearm Cable + is found in Blue Heaven, Heimdall 2, Frey 2, and Tyr 2 ranges. The Blue Heaven Tonearm Cable + uses a twisted pair cable design to create a left and right channel, which are individually shielded in order to eliminate inter-channel crosstalk. It also employs a separately shielded, silver-plated bond wire, wrapped in Micro Mono-Filament, which runs alongside the left and right channel to help minimize noise from the line.
The most unique aspect of the Blue Heaven Tonearm Cable + is its unique and innovative grounding solution. Detachable, silver-plated ground “whips” using Micro MonoFilament (MMF) technology allow the listener to connect or disconnect the individual channel grounds from one another to tune for best sound in a specific listening room. The whips completely eliminate any noise that could be introduced during playback, no matter the makeup of the system.
Blue Heaven Tonearm + is for analog lovers who’d like to discover what a precision-designed high fidelity tonearm cable upgrade can do, while saving room in the budget for upgrades elsewhere. The Tonearm Cable + models mate seamlessly with other MMF-based cables across the Nordost catalog, and the use of consistent technology and materials across a system can enhance effects and support synergy.
