Other Notes: A "head amp" is designed to boost the signal of a MC cartridge so it can be used with an amplifier's MM input; it's not a standalone phono stage. It is placed between a turntable with an Moving Coil cartridge and the input of a Moving Magnet Phono stage on a preamp or integrated amp.
