Functional Notes: The subwoofer is operational, but the volume control appears to be disabled, with the volume at max at all times... presumably a modification performed to minimize the signal path and maximize sound quality as we have two of these subs with the exact same modification. Also, the subwoofer only operates in "Auto Power" mode. Otherwise, this subwoofer is fully operational and has been used like this for many years. However, you will need to use only with a an LFE output on your processor or some other fashion that provides independent volume control.
