Cosmetic Description: 8/10 Excellent condition with minimal visible cosmetic wear including one woofer bolt missing from one speaker, a small scuff on the same speaker near the top left side, and a nick on the base of the other speaker.  Outstanding condition overall - the condition will please even the most discerning audiophile.

Other Notes: Included with these speakers are external crossovers, custom tri-coat automotive paint finish and a MiniDSP unit for equalization and subwoofer integration -- all custom upgrade options from Emerald Physics. The MiniDSP unit can be changed via a computer app that can be obtained at www.minidsp.com. At the moment, it is set up for analog inputs 1 and 2 to route through to outputs 1, 2, 3 and 4, with 1 and 2 being the main speaker outs and 3 and 4 being the subwoofer outputs. The external crossovers may be used with two amplifiers, or with a single amplifier and jumpers (included) attached to the crossover inputs.

If set up as single amp, full range network configuration, it is 95dB efficient. It can then be upgraded in the users home to either bi-amp or tri-amp operation with your subwoofer. In addition to an extra 3dB of efficiency in triamp the new EP3.8 offers greater dynamics, improved midrange and bass transparency as well as resolution.

Our controlled dispersion design means that the speakers are not room dependent and work in all rooms.

The new custom designed Emerald Physics Carbon Fiber Series 12" midrange drivers provide increased speed, transparency and resolution. Midrange smear is completely eliminated. Compare the EP3.8 to speakers selling for many times their Internet Direct price.

In addition to the new Carbon Fiber midrange the EP3.8 uses our Emerald Neodymium Polyester-Diaphram compression tweeter and an improved crossover over the original EP3.7 that it replaces. It also now is wired with Wireworld OCC cable.

Shipping: Shipping within the Continental USA is approximately $299- This includes securing to a pallet with adequate protection and shipping via FedEx Freight to a residential address anywhere in the Continental USA. This rate can be reduced by $60 if a commercial delivery address available or if item can be picked up at nearest FedEx Freight depot. FedEx Freight charges a residential delivery fee otherwise which is included in our flat rate charge.
