Cosmetic Description: 7/10 Very good cosmetic condition with some minor visible cosmetic wear including scuffing, scratching, and small white marks on the top and side surfaces. There are 4 small drill holes in the back of each cabinet where it was wall-mounted. This item shows some wear consistent with its age but is still presentable and sounds wonderful.

Other Notes: "The Tukan is beautifully finished in real-wood veneer. The grillecloth is a black fabric sock that stretches over the front baffle and seats in a channel machined into the cabinet. This design eliminates diffraction from a grille frame. Both drivers are mounted flush with the baffle, and the driver mounting bolts are recessed to further reduce diffraction. The rear panel has two pairs of recessed banana jacks for bi-wiring or bi-amping, and a small port.

The Tukans really excelled in soundstaging. The presentation was wide and deep, with razor-sharp image focus. Further enhancing the soundstaging, the Tukans resolved air and bloom around instrumental outlines that gave the music an organic, less synthetic character. The Tukans' ability to resolve space between tightly focused images was first-rate by any measure. In addition, the entire presentation was huge and beautifully developed."
