Cosmetic Description: 7/10 Very good cosmetic condition with some minor visible cosmetic wear including rings and discoloration on the top of one speaker, scuffs and swirls on the top of both speakers, a large nick on the rear top edge and a small indentation on the top right edge and a nick in the top front left corner of one speaker, and a scratch on the right side of the other speaker near the bottom. One of the binding post nuts on one speaker is gone, but the binding post will still accept a banana plug. Also, there are 4 or 5 small holes, light pilling and a few small stains on the grills. This item does show a few blemishes but is attractive overall and has been well cared for.

I also feel that, at $995/pair, it is a superb value for the money. However, its tweeter is so extended in range and consequently so revealing that careful matching with other components and recordings is warranted. With the finest associated gear and recordings, the Chorus 807V achieved a level of performance that competed with much more expensive speakers.
