Other Notes: "The Pisces is patterned after the legendary B&W 805 and designed by one of the best Australian sound engineers, Michael Barabasz. The resulting high-tech cabinet design renders resonance to the absolute minimum. If you rap cabinet with your bare knuckles you will easily recognize the acoustic inertia of its thick walls (3/4" - 1"). Heavy front baffle eliminates defraction and sonic smear. A six and one half inch midrange/bass Kevlar cone with Butyl Rubber Surround and a phase plug is employed for clean and involving midrange with astounding bass extention and slam. The tweeter is enclosed in a separate basket. Inherent in this design is a driver that does not suffer as much from reflections as a one recessed in the cabinet. As in the B&W, this separate enclosure provides for proper time alignment. The highs are remarkably sweet and extended, with absolutely no hint of listener fatigue or sibilance. The whole ensemble is then wrapped in a luscious top grade real wood veneer and finish is simply gorgeous."
