Other Notes: This rare pair of 303A's are the very first pair off the line, serial numbers 000 & 001. These are an audiophile collectors dream come true, they are a rare one-of-a-kind pair of AR speakers that have a fascinating history and the documentation to back it up.
From the previous owner of these speakers:
"When I met with Tom at his home in North Carolina to pick these up, he told me that AR had gifted him a pair of AR303’s. They were the first iteration of the 303 model that came only in black. At the request of Julian Hirsch he sent them to Hirsch-Houck Laboratories for testing. Upon return Tom’s pair of 303’s were severely damaged in shipping. Upon hearing this, AR decided to gift him a new pair of the AR303A model that was just going into production. They specified that Tom received the very first pair off the line, serial numbers 0000 & 0001."
