Offered today by The Music Room: One Velodyne ULD-18 subwoofer. This is the subwoofer that put Velodyne on the map. It got rave professional reviews upon its release... setting the bar for the level of low-frequency musicality that's possible. This particular unit was just completely gone through by a local professional speaker builder. The cabinet was reinforced internally with extra bracing. The foam surround on the woofer was replaced. It is working like new and sounds phenomenal. This subwoofer retailed for $2600 when it was released in 1989. That's $5000 in today's dollars!

Cosmetic condition rating is 7/10 - The subwoofer is in excellent condition. There is a notable scratch on one side of the cabinet. Very light wear elsewhere. The amplifier is in fair condition. A few of the heat-sink fins are bent at the back, right corner of the amp. This can be placed out of sight. The face does look clean and attractive.
