Velodyne FSR-18 Servo Powered Subwoofer; AS-IS

This subwoofer WAS working when we acquired it. The only problem it had was that the volume and low pass crossover knobs were physically broken on the back, so were unable to adjust the volume etc. I removed the entire amplifier section from the back and took to a local repair shop where they replaced the potentiometers. When I got it back, the subwoofer was powering up but not making a sound... nothing. Repair shop is unable to get it working and can't tell me what's wrong with it. I called Velodyne and they suggested I could send in the amplifier section and they will repair or replace for a flat $270. However, I feel like it has to be a really simple problem given the background... doesn't make sense to spend that much money. I'd rather sell to someone that has the expertise to repair it. Thus offering AS-IS for parts / repair only.

Power cord and original remote control included.

Cosmetic condition is good but not perfect. There are some scratches on the cabinet on top and along the left side. The grill has one broken peg so is not as tight as it should be. See photos for details.
