Service History: This was a new SR-001 Mk2 system purchased in 2010 and immediately upgraded to the most aggressive Audio Cats "Super Fat Cat" modification available at that time. The aggressive version displaces the battery box with large audio capacitors. Additionally, TARA Labs RSC wire was used for all internal connections. The unit can either be plugged into the wall with the included Stax power adaptor, used with an external battery pack (not included), or you can construct the Fat Cat external battery pack with the supplied case (This has not been done). The system was broken in for 150 hours and was only used about 3 times after that so it is essentially new and in near perfect condition.

Note that this unit is upgrade to the highest level which is far beyond what is pictured.
