This system is in excellent operational order. Everything is working. Remote Control is not included. Sound quality is excellent from this unit.

Cosmetic condition is very good. There are a couple of scuff marks on the main unit, but it is still very attractive overall. See photos for details.

Sony's CMT-HPX9 offers clean stereo sound in an elegant, compact design. It's small enough to fit on a bookshelf or desk, but this versatile system is not short on playback options. For starters, you can load up the 5-disc changer with CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and even long-playing MP3 CDs. Disc exchange lets you change out four discs while the fifth plays on. You also get clear, drift-free tuning with the built-in digital AM/FM tuner. And the single cassette deck lets you listen to your favorite tapes and make recordings from CD, the radio, or even an external source connected via the auxiliary input.

The speakers feature a 3-way design (a rarity for micro systems!), with a 4-3/4" woofer, 1-1/2" cone tweeter, and a 3/4" dome super-tweeter. The drivers work together to produce balanced sound from top to bottom. Driven by 150 watts of total system power, the CMT-HPX9 packs a surprising wallop! Fine tune the sound with the bass and treble controls to suit your tastes.
