Offered today by The Music Room: One pair of Quad ESL-988 speakers. These speakers are coming from the estate of the original owner - a dedicated audiophile and a collector. They have been very well cared for and are working perfectly. Breathtaking transparency and musicality are the hallmarks of these classic speakers. This particular set has spent the last 12 years wrapped in the plastic sleeves and stored in the original factory boxes in a climate controlled room. They're in great shape.

Cosmetic condition - These speakers look outstanding overall. The grill cloth - the "socks" have been removed from these. The previous owner believe this to contribute to better sonic performance. They are in great shape, but we left them off so that the condition of the actual speakers can be seen. There is one small "dent" on the back of one speaker frame. There is also a little bit of wear on the wood trim pieces on top. These speakers are otherwise in excellent shape with no notable blemishes.
