Quad 405 Amplifier and 44 Preamplifier Set; Preamp / Amp Combo

This rare set is working perfectly and looks wonderful as well. It was previously owned by an avid audiophile, collector and electrical engineer. It was very well maintained, and it shows. Standard RCA jacks were added to the "Radio" card for easier connection of modern components. Upgraded speaker terminals were added to the amplifier which can accept banana plugs. Also note that there are 2 input cards on the back labeled "Radio". One of these corresponds to the "AUX" button on the front.

Included with the set is the power cable which connects the amp and preamp. Also, there is one connection cable for the preamp output to amp input.

Cosmetic condition is very good. The face of the preamp is excellent... I don't see any blemishes. On top, there are a couple of small scratches. Also some very slight thinning of paint along the front, top edge. Outstanding overall. The amplifier is great as well. There are a couple of very tiny dings on two of the heatsink fins. There are a couple of very light scratches on the sides. As you can see, everything very attractive overall. Definitely collectable condition (IMO). See photos for details.
