Pioneer HPM-150 Vintage Speakers; Excellent Condition; New Woofers

These speakers are some of my favorites of all time. I have another set in my collection that are in my living room right now... I plan to keep them forever. This set is in excellent condition both functionally and cosmetically. They are working perfectly. The woofers are both brand new... factory fresh replacements straight from Pioneer. They cost over $400 for the pair and sound fantastic... better than the originals. Pioneer sells these as direct replacements for the originals, but they are built even better.

Cosmetic condition of these is excellent. Brand new grill cloth was just added to the front grills. The top grill cloth is original... and just oh ever so slightly a different hue of black different than the fronts because of the age difference... not very noticeable at all. The cabinets are nearly perfect... I don't see any blemishes on the wood sides. There's a couple of tiny nicks at the back corners... no damage. The only cosmetic blemish I can really find is one small chip in the glass at one corner. This is not readily visible depending on how you position them. See photos for details.

These truly are magnificent speakers that should be passed down to generations to come... one of the most beautiful speakers ever designed in my humble opinion. We will go to great lengths to make sure that these arrive to you in the same condition you see now. We will ship in 3 separate boxes. One box for each of the main cabinets and then another box for the top grills, glass and super tweeters (these are easy to remove and re-install). This is the safest way... we have experience packing and shipping these.

Description

The Pioneer HPM-150 is a 4-way, 4-speaker floor-type bass-reflex system with tweeter and midrange level controls on the front panel.

It incorporates a 400mm carbon fibre blended woofer with long throw voice coil, a 100mm midrange with edge-wound voice coil, a 45mm lightweight cone tweeter (all three mounted in diecast aluminium frames to prevent basket resonance), plus a polymer horn-loaded omnidirectional super tweeter giving 270 degrees of horizontal dispersion.

The HPM-150 can handle amplifiers up to 300 watts per channel.
