Mordaunt Short MS 3.50 Floorstanding Speakers

These speakers sound outstanding... very impressive. Currently listening to Nine Inch Nails... very heavy music with complex beats and many layers. These manage to play loudly and still sound very articulate without ever sounding harsh or fatiguing. They image very well and have a nice full range with solid bass. I would definitely describe their overall sound as being on the "warm" side. But they are still extremely detailed. At this price point, I can't think of anything I've ever heard that sounds comparable.

Cosmetic condition: They are very attractive overall, but when you examine closely you can see some cosmetic wear. One speaker has a small nick in the wood at the front, bottom left-hand edge. That same speaker has a nick in the trim piece on the back, left edge (out of sight). The other speaker has a nick along the back, top edge. None of these blemishes are really noticeable from your listening position. They present very well.
