Offered today by The Music Room: One pair of Melos SE-75 Tube Amplifiers. These beautiful and rare, one-owner amplifiers were originally purchased in November of 1998. They were built in '96 and were the 3rd built of this model. The amplifiers were rebuilt and upgraded by “Melos Restoration” with their A, B & C modifications in May of 2001. The "A" modification included self biasing circuitry, power diodes and hv bridges. The B modification included replacement and upgrading of all capacitors to a total of 52,800uf and slow turn on circuitry changed from 10 seconds to 2 minutes. The C modification consisted of replacing Mosfet transistors with four twin triode B12H7 tubes and removing FET transistors leaving an All tube, Pure Triode high current amplifier. Paperwork concerning the work done by Melos Resotration is included. The total cost per the included invoice was $3798. This product has passed all of our rigorous quality assurance testing and is performing wonderfully. It is truly a world class performer. Serial #: 051601001 A, B, C Voltage: 120v
