This amplifier was previously owned by a very meticulous audiophile who utilized it in a dedicated listening room in conjunction with some custom-built speakers with JBL drivers. The speakers were actually fairly efficient, so this amp has never been pushed hard at all. At 600 watt / ch, this is the most powerful amplifier McIntosh has ever built.
