Offered today by The Music Room: One Marantz model 500 stereo power amplifier. This amplifier was previously owned by an avid audiophile and collector who has been in the industry for many years. He knows his equipment and takes great care of it. This unit is not necessarily in collectable condition, but it does perform wonderfully - the sound quality is without question on par with some of the very best solid state amps on the market today for under $5k.

It does have its cosmetic issues - the door is missing from the front that covers the front inputs and the meters are not illuminated. One meter is not functioning. There are some scratches on the handles and some scratches on the face to the right of the door. Also some light scratches on the top of the case.
