Offered today by The Music Room: One Marantz 2500 receiver. This classic receiver is coming from my personal collection. I really had planned on keeping this beauty forever, but I've decided to let it go. They are really, really hard to find in this kind of condition. This one has obviously had a very easy life. It still has the look and feel of a new receiver. Very clean inside and out and working wonderfully. I don't know the full service history on this unit, but it appears to be all original.

Functional Notes: Excellent overall function. I would say that it is working perfectly, but there are a few controls that could use a little cleaning. Nothing to the level that bothered me at all... occassional scratchiness from the balance control and the input selector knob... standard fare for this vintage. All of the lights are working on this unit and the scope is functioning perfectly as well.

Cosmetic condition - Beautiful overall condition. Under bright lights and close examination, you can find a couple of very tiny blemishes on the faceplate above the tuning dial. Not readily visible at all. The wood case is in wonderful condition with a nice sheen to it. From top to bottom, this is a wonderful example of a classic receiver.
