Marantz Model 2238b Vintage Stereo AM / FM Receiver

This receiver has been tested and is fully functional. It has been in storage for many years and has not been serviced... so it would benefit from a thorough cleaning of pots and it also needs new lamps. I did test all inputs and outputs... switches and controls. Everything is working. The preamp out / main in jumpers are missing. We've replaced these with a set of RCA cables which works fine.

Cosmetic condition is good but not perfect. The face is actually very clean and free of any noticeable blemishes. The biggest problem is a cap missing from the treble knob. These are fairly easy to find on ebay from sellers parting out similar units. There is some light wear on the top of the case but no offensive scratches or scuffs. This is a really attractive, well-preserved unit overall... well worth putting some time into restoring to 100%. See photos for details.
