Offered today by The Music Room: One pair of Marantz MA-24 Mono Power Amplifiers. This product has passed all of our rigorous quality assurance testing and is performing wonderfully. These units were originally purchased as a "refurbished" set. The original factory boxes are marked as such. They have been gently used by one owner in a non-smoking home. Beautiful rare and collectible amplifiers. The ‘24s are the premium members of Marantz’s line of premium audio components introduced in 1981 called the MusicLink series in the US and the Esotec line in the rest of the world. Marantz designed the MusicLink series “To provide absolutely state-of-the-art-sonic performance in a rarely seen design package noted for both its advanced construction and its understated beauty.”

The MA-24s are the lower-power monoamps built on larger chassis. They run a richer Class-A biasing than the ‘22s. The’24's continuous-power ratings of 30 Watts into 8 and 60 Watts into 4 Ohms do not accurately reflect their ability to drive fairly inefficient speakers. Cosmetic condition rating is 8/10 - Excellent condition with very minimal wear including a small blemish on the left side of one of the faceplates. Very minimal wear otherwise. These look great.
