JBL L200 t3 Vintage 2-way Floorstanding Speakers

These speakers sound a LOT better than I expected them to when I acquired them. I've owned the original L200's, and these obviously don't share the same build quality. That said, they are beautifully simple in their design and don't try to do anything that a speaker is not supposed to do. In other words, with these speakers you don't hear the speakers... you hear the music. You forget that the speakers are there. The soundstage is so lifelike, and the simple 2-way design allows for incredible pinpoint imaging. I was blown away.

These are functioning perfectly. We just had the foam surrounds professionally replaced, so they are good for another 25-30 years.

While these actually look very attractive overall, I have to rank the cosmetic condition as fair due to a couple of issues. Here's what happened... the previous owner had a small child who at one point pulled off one of the grills and pushed in the dustcap on the woofer every so slightly (there's a very small indentation in one). He was so upset and so worried about this, that he decided to nail the grills to the speakers so that they could not be removed. Yep... that wouldn't have been my recommendation, but that's what he did. So now, each speaker has a few nail holes in it that are hidden by the grills. You can't see them when the grills are on, but now the grill cloth has some holes where the nails went in. New grill cloth will make these speakers look really, really sharp. Other than the nail issue, there is just minor wear on the cabinets. One has some light scratches and a faint water stain on top. Tiny nicks at the corners... typical wear for their age.

The good part is that these are working perfectly and even have brand new foam surrounds installed. Guaranteed to arrive safely to your door in perfect working order so you can enjoy the beautiful music they make!
