Bose 1801 Dual Channel Stereo Power Amplifier; Mint in Box; Never Used!

This unit is brand new in the box. That's right... brand new / never used. I was skeptical as well when I acquired this. I examined it very carefully before removing any of the packaging... The unit is in perfect cosmetic condition... never touched. I could not find any evidence whatsoever of prior use... the fuses have never been installed. It is truly in brand new condition. I carefully removed the inner packaging just to inspect and test function. It does work perfectly and sounds exceptional after all these years.

The story behind this is a sad one. A U.S. serviceman purchased this while serving his country overseas. He had it shipped home in anticipation of his upcoming discharge. The equipment made it home, but he never did. His family has had it in storage ever since. While a bit sad... it's a beautiful piece of gear with a lot of history.
