Other Notes: "The A 1 headphone amplifier has been developed to operate headphones with nominal impedance from 30 to 600 ohms. It provides excellent audio quality with high volume and strong bass response. The special circuit design features an amazingly natural sound reproduction with an excellent resolution and spatiality. The entire circuitry is capable to transmit 96 kHz allowing the transmission of the whole frequency response of a SA-CD or DVD audio. Due to a microprocessor-controlled relay, two high-class stereo sound sources can be selected silently. The volume control is made of solid aluminum with a high-grade ALPS potentiometer inside. The gold-plated RCA connections on the rear allow the connection of audio sources and provide a signal transmission without loss. A large dimensioned toroidal core transformer ensures high fidelity of impulse and dynamics. "
