“The Qualiton A35i is a beautifully crafted, push-pull tube integrated amplifier delivering 2×35 watts in stereo (into 8Ω), balanced with top-quality components and an Automatic Bias Control System that keeps all four output tubes in perfect balance. It uses 7581A power tubes (rugged 6L6 family), with 12AX7 and 6922/E88CC driver tubes, and offers three RCA + one XLR input. The sound is lush, musical, and very coherent, with refined mids, a vivid top-end, and enough bass grip to support moderately demanding speakers. Add to that excellent build quality—custom transformers, motorized Alps volume control, stainless steel chassis, relays in input selection—and you have an amp that competes well above its power class.”
