"The 057 Surround Processor is an audio-only processor-preamp by Burmester Audiosystems. It was our designing goal to create a processor which is uncompromisingly heading to the highest possible sound quality and, at the same time, is easy to use. It is derived from the Reference Line 007. In order to achieve these goals, we employed a number of technical features in the 057 which have already been well proven in other Burmester components. It supports surround sound formats including Dolby Digital EX, DTS ES DTS Neo:6, and Dolby Pro Logic II. The processor also boasts fully balanced amplification, DC coupling, and automatic overload control."
