"I've not been able to find a DAC that sounds as good without getting into the $12,000 + level. At our NJ Audio Society we had a meeting and did a DAC shootout. There were about 8 DAC's in all, two of them home made jobbers and the most interesting DAC of the entire bunch was the LFD.
