Featuring a newly designed drive mechanism with additional heavy anchors, the original Yamaha loader mechanism ensures the highest level of rigidity. By securing the loader mechanism to the chassis using heavy anchors in front of and behind it, we block external vibrations effectively. This design also prevents disc rotation-induced vibrations from affecting the circuit board. The front anchor boasts a two-layer structure and a screw-based adjustment mechanism, allowing for highly precise adjustment of the loader mechanism's horizontal level on both the front-back and left-right sides.

Each CD-S3000 unit undergoes meticulous assembly, with the drive mechanism attached to the chassis followed by minute horizontal adjustments. Despite being time-consuming and labor-intensive, this process underscores Yamaha's genuine commitment to achieving the ultimate in precise signal reading. These efforts ensure stable rotation and ultra-precise signal reading by eliminating any minute tilting of the mechanism.

To minimize the impact of servo current changes on the signal, we have reduced the load of the servo driving the pickup, resulting in a clean signal output virtually unaffected by noise. Furthermore, the loader mechanism's structure integrates a highly rigid chassis, providing robust support for the entire CD drive.

In addition, only the highest quality parts are selected for the pickup and drive mechanism, ensuring high-precision reading of audio data from the disc and achieving the utmost purity in reproduction.

High-Rigidity Aluminum CD Tray

The CD tray of the CD-S3000 is crafted from high-rigidity aluminum, effectively minimizing secondary vibrations caused by disc resonance and the high-speed motor rotating the disc. In addition to its smart design and luxurious texture, we have meticulously fine-tuned the opening and closing action of the tray. By incorporating a specially-designed meshed wire drive, we have achieved smoother and gentler operation, adding to the overall refinement of the unit.

High Rigidity Main Chassis

In the pursuit of uncompromising performance, every aspect of the CD-S3000 has been meticulously crafted to maximize strength and rigidity. The main chassis, which provides crucial support to the loader mechanism, has been reinforced in every part, significantly enhancing the chassis's overall rigidity.

Additionally, the front panel is crafted from 0.28” thick aluminum, further contributing to the unit's high rigidity. To achieve optimal weight balance and symmetry, the unit is constructed with the loader mechanism positioned at the center, flanked by the digital power supply and circuit board on the left, and the analog power supply and circuit board on the right. This meticulous arrangement ensures a total symmetrical structure with the digital and analog components separated.

Furthermore, to minimize impedance to the greatest extent possible, the bottom chassis, serving as the standard ground, has been meticulously copper-plated. This attention to detail and precision engineering culminate in an audio experience that is unparalleled in purity and clarity.

Insulators Allow Use of Spikes or Pads

The insulators are crucial parts that block outside vibrations. They adopt original Yamaha metal legs in order to maximize vibration control performance. The user can select point installation by applying the supplied spikes or plane insulation with the supplied pads and use these combined with an interlocking rack if desired.

Independent Configuration of Digital and Analog Circuits

The CD-S3000 features a twin power transformer configuration, meticulously separating the digital and analog circuits and providing each with its dedicated power transformer. By eliminating cabling and mounting components directly, this design reduces connection loss and achieves low impedance, optimizing the flow of power throughout the system. Additionally, the cabling from the power transformer utilizes screw-type connections, akin to those found in the companion A-S3000 Integrated Amplifier.

This direct connection method, devoid of soldering, ensures thorough contact point engagement and minimal impedances, further enhancing the efficiency and performance of the CD-S3000.

Single-Stage Configuration I/V Conversion Circuit Enables Direct Analog Output
