Important Note: The Synergistic Research Network Router UEF is intentionally designed without internal WiFi to maintain optimal performance by isolating the network signal from wireless interference. Systems requiring wireless connectivity—such as phones or tablets—must use a separate access point connected to the Network Router UEF.

It is important to understand that a WiFi router is not the same as an access point; standard routers will not function in this setup. Extensive testing shows that most access points have minimal effect on performance. For ease of use, SR recommends the TP-Link EAP245 or the NETGEAR WiFi 6 Access Point (WAX214). When configuring your access point, assign it a unique SSID distinct from your existing home network.
