Synergistic Research MiG 3.0 Isolation Footers Key Features:

  • Natural Tonal Balance – Maintains the warm, effortless tonal character of the original MiG while adding greater resolution and clarity.
  • Enhanced Soundstage – Expands the perceived space with a wall-to-wall, holographic presentation, improving imaging and spatial cues.
  • Improved Frequency Response – Delivers tighter, extended low-frequency control and enhanced high-frequency air and detail.
  • Dynamic and Synergistic – Preserves extended dynamic range without the flattening or harshness found in heavily damped or vibration-draining designs.
  • System Integration – Performs most effectively alongside other Synergistic Research products, ensuring a consistent house sound and system-wide synergy.

Product Description:

MiG 3.0 was developed when Synergistic Research’s lead designer sought to integrate new UEF technologies first pioneered in the SRX reference cable loom and Purple fuse programs. The goal was to bring MiG 3.0 closer to MiG SX in terms of resolution while delivering a richer, more dynamic harmonic structure and enhanced soundstaging compared with MiG 2.0. By retuning the resonance characteristics of the MiG and incorporating the same UEF element used in SRX cables and Purple Fuses, MiG 3.0 achieves a lower noise floor, smoother highs, and a larger, more immersive sound field than both the standard MiG and the previous MiG 2.0.

The new MiG 3.0 builds on this foundation with greater resolution that remains effortless, paired with a wall-to-wall holographic soundstage that conveys the performance enveloping the listener’s position. Compared to isolation footers that rely on damping, MiG footers provide more extended dynamic range and clearer spatial cues, whereas damped designs often sound flatter with reduced dynamic extension. Footers that primarily drain mechanical vibration can appear bright, with less soundstage layering and midrange warmth. When used alongside a full suite of Synergistic Research technology, MiG footers offer the most synergistic, house-sound-consistent performance across cables, power products, and acoustic treatments.
