At its core, Foundation XL is a refined, scaled-down version of SRX XL—handmade in Synergistic Research’s California factory using the same core technologies first introduced in the flagship cable loom.

Foundation XL applies the SRX XL UEF Compound to its matrix shielding, lowering the noise floor without limiting dynamics or transparency. Each cable is then treated with the same long-duration, high-frequency conditioning process developed for SRX XL, enhancing dimensionality, tonal accuracy, and high-frequency clarity.

Included with every cable are Purple and Gold UEF Carbon Tuning Discs, allowing users to tailor the sound to their system and preferences—or run them without tuning.
