Product Description:
Atmosphere SX Reference Subwoofer interconnects are built on 5th Generation Tricon Silver Matrix geometries paired with Silver Air String geometries, featuring pure 6-9’s silver conductors in an Air Dielectric, all hand-assembled in California. Like the flagship SRX cable loom, they undergo the High-Frequency Long Duration Conditioning Process, the same breakthrough used in Purple Fuses that outperform even the most costly alternatives. To reduce noise and enhance shield performance, the design diverts interference to a Synergistic Research Ground Block or Active Ground Block. Further refinement comes from Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs placed along the shield and within connectors, lowering the noise floor and elevating resolution while retaining musicality. Unique to the Reference level, two Galileo SX Tuning Bullets—Gold and Silver—allow system-specific voicing. Gold Bullets add warmth and liquidity, while Silver Bullets emphasize detail and dynamics with precise focus. By mixing and matching across components, users can tailor a bespoke balance of richness and resolution, achieving a presentation that is uniquely optimized for their system.
UEF Matrix Shield with Graphene Matrix Shielding
The Atmosphere X Series originally explored ways to improve UEF Shielding by positioning UEF Tech at key grid points along cable shields—a method now known as Matrix Shielding. This design lowers the noise floor and enhances clarity. Atmosphere SX refines the concept further by incorporating newly developed Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs, which improve the loom’s ability to cancel noise that could otherwise make high frequencies sound fatiguing. The result is greater resolution, a more holographic soundstage, and improved musicality.
Quantum Tunneling SRX Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning
After perfecting highly natural and holographic cables, Synergistic Research introduced a new high-voltage conditioning process for Atmosphere SX. This process applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. They experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. They even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol. conditioning sessions. The final SRX conditioning process delivers exceptional timbral accuracy, holographic realism, and three-dimensional presence, surpassing previous Tesla Coil protocols.
Gold and Silver SX Tuning Bullets—Redefining Refinement
The Galileo Tuning Circuits have been completely reformulated and re-voiced with technology developed for the ultra-resolution and musical Galileo SX line of cables. The new Silver Bullets deliver greater detail along with added warmth compared to the previous generation, while the Gold Bullets now provide even more musicality, liquid smoothness, and a touch of additional air and detail. For optimal results, Synergistic Research recommends allowing any cable to settle in the system for 72 to 96 hours without removal or handling and without Gold or Silver Bullets attached. Once settled, audition the Gold Bullets first, followed by the Silver Bullets, to determine which voicing produces the most natural musical presentation in the system. Atmosphere Excite SX includes the RED UEF Tuning Module, while Atmosphere Euphoria SX is equipped with both RED and BLUE UEF Tuning Modules for greater flexibility.
