The Atmosphere X EXCITE is Synergistic Research’s highest-resolution non-AirString phono cable, featuring 2 × 4th Gen Tricon RCA and 4 × 4th Gen Tricon Geometry XLR connectors, meticulously hand-built in their California factory. It uses top-tier SR20 RCA and Neutrik XLR connectors for optimal signal transfer. Level 3 UEF Matrix shielding with Graphene ensures an exceptionally low noise floor and heightened musicality. Performance is further enhanced with the award-winning SR BLUE Fuse treatment, boosting resolution and musical expression, while soundstaging benefits from the Quantum Tunneling process, which applies a controlled 1,000,000-volt treatment. UEF Matrix Shield with Graphene Matrix Shielding

The Atmosphere X Series originally explored ways to improve UEF Shielding by positioning UEF Tech at key grid points along cable shields—a method now known as Matrix Shielding. This design lowers the noise floor and enhances clarity. Atmosphere SX refines the concept further by incorporating newly developed Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs, which improve the loom’s ability to cancel noise that could otherwise make high frequencies sound fatiguing. The result is greater resolution, a more holographic soundstage, and improved musicality.

Quantum Tunneling SRX Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning

After perfecting highly natural and holographic cables, Synergistic Research introduced a new high-voltage conditioning process for Atmosphere SX. This process applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. They experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. They even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Gold SX Tuning Bullet—Redefining Refinement

Synergistic Research has completely redesigned and re-voiced its Galileo Tuning Circuits, incorporating technology developed for the ultra-resolution, highly musical Galileo SX cable line. The updated Silver Bullets now deliver increased detail while adding greater warmth compared to the previous Galileo Silver Bullets. The Gold Bullets enhance musicality even further, offering liquid smoothness, a touch more air, and improved detail. For optimal results, it is recommended that any Synergistic Research cable first settle into the system for 72 to 96 hours without removal or handling, and without Gold or Silver Bullets attached. Listeners should then audition with the Gold Bullets first, followed by the Silver, selecting the option that best enhances musical enjoyment in their system.
