Synergistic Research Atmosphere SX Excite Digital Interconnect Product Description: 

Building on ALIVE’s UEF Matrix Shielding, EXCITE incorporates a higher-resolution Level 2 UEF Matrix Shielding and an expanded geometry that adds 1 x Pure Silver Air String for RCA and 2 x Air Strings for XLR, all hand-built in California from 99.9999% pure silver monofilament conductors in an air dielectric. To further reduce the system’s noise floor, EXCITE interconnect shields are tied directly to ground rather than components, allowing the full musical signal to pass without interference.

As with all Atmosphere X cables, EXCITE includes built-in UEF Quantum Resonator technology and undergoes a conditioning process originally developed for BLUE fuses. Each cable is then exposed to 1,000,000 volts on a custom Tesla Coil to enhance signal propagation at the molecular level.

The previous Atmosphere X Series Cables began as an experiment to improve UEF Shielding by placing UEF Tech at strategic grid points along the cable shields, a method now known as Matrix Shielding. This approach arranges UEF elements in a grid pattern on the shield to reduce the noise floor. Atmosphere SX further refines Matrix Shielding by incorporating newly developed Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs, specifically engineered for Atmosphere SX, which enhance the cable’s ability to cancel noise that could otherwise make high frequencies sound harsh or fatiguing. Ongoing research into UEF Shielding has pushed the resolution capabilities of Atmosphere SX, resulting in a more holographic sound with greater resolution and musicality.

UEF Ground Plane—Optimized Performance

Atmosphere SX Digital interconnects include the option to ground the cables to a Synergistic Research Ground Block (sold separately) to further enhance performance. This results in deeper and more powerful bass, a more holographic soundstage, smoother high frequencies with increased extension and air, a more present and layered midrange, and greater tonal density with improved apparent resolution.

SRX Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning

After achieving highly natural and holographic cables, a new high-voltage conditioning process was developed that applies a sweeping frequency plot over an extended period. Dozens of frequency combinations were tested over long durations to determine the optimal mix. A custom Tesla Coil was engineered to manage the heat generated during these extended conditioning sessions. The finalized SRX conditioning process delivers exceptional holographic realism and timbral accuracy, surpassing the results of previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocols.

UEF Cell—Filter Your Signal

Atmosphere Level 3 Digital interconnects incorporate the same Patent-Pending UEF Cell technology found in the flagship Galileo UEF series. Housed in Carbon Fiber enclosures, these Unified Energy Field Cells combine precious metal foils with Teflon and Japanese Silk dielectrics. UEF components, including Graphene, are applied directly to the signal and shield paths, reducing the noise floor and allowing digital information to pass through the cable without interference or signal reflections. The result is uncompressed, visceral, and lifelike musical reproduction.
