Synergistic Research Atmosphere SX Excite Interconnects Product Description: 

Excite SX RCA interconnects begin with two 5th Generation Tricon Silver Matrix geometries running in parallel. Two hand-crafted Air String Geometries with pure 6-9’s silver conductors in an Air Dielectric are added for enhanced detail. XLR versions feature four Air String geometries for a fully balanced cable. The cable undergoes the same High-Frequency Long Duration Conditioning Process originally developed for the SRX cable loom, the same process that elevates Purple Fuses to the world’s highest-performing audio fuses. Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs are placed internally at strategic points along the cable shield and inside connectors to reduce noise, enhance resolution, and maintain high-frequency air and extension without harshness. For an even lower noise floor, the cable shields can be grounded to an optional Synergistic Research Ground Block or Active Ground Block, allowing noise picked up along the shield to bypass system components and return to house ground, improving holography. Voicing the Excite SX to a system is simplified with the included Galileo SX Gold UEF Tuning Bullet. Users can audition the cable with and without the tuning bullet and select the option that produces the most musical result in their system.

The Atmosphere X Series originally explored ways to improve UEF Shielding by positioning UEF Tech at key grid points along cable shields—a method now known as Matrix Shielding. This design lowers the noise floor and enhances clarity. Atmosphere SX refines the concept further by incorporating newly developed Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs, which improve the loom’s ability to cancel noise that could otherwise make high frequencies sound fatiguing. The result is greater resolution, a more holographic soundstage, and improved musicality.

After perfecting highly natural and holographic cables, Synergistic Research introduced a new high-voltage conditioning process for Atmosphere SX. This process applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. They experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. They even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol. conditioning sessions. The Galileo Tuning Circuits have been fully reformulated and re-voiced with new technology developed for the ultra-resolution and musical Galileo SX line of cables. Gold Bullets now provide enhanced musicality, liquid smoothness, and additional air and detail compared to previous versions. For optimal performance, Synergistic Research cables should be allowed to settle into a system for 72 to 96 hours without handling or attaching Gold Bullets. The cable can then be auditioned first without a Gold Bullet, followed by Gold Bullets, allowing the listener to select the option that delivers the most musical result in their system.

Atmosphere Excite SX includes the Gold SX Tuning module, while Atmosphere Euphoria SX comes equipped with both the Gold and Silver SX Tuning Modules.
