The Atmosphere X Ethernet cable was designed and voiced to deliver music with a rare emotional connection, keeping listeners engaged for hours while revealing startling holographic realism and detail. It features proprietary UEF Graphene Shielding to achieve an exceptionally low noise floor, along with a new conditioning process first developed for Blue Fuses. A refined testing procedure allows the cable to achieve a unique level of musical purity while maintaining Synergistic Research’s hallmark traits: low noise, high resolution, and holographic realism. The design incorporates a new shielding matrix and conductor alloy, selected through double-blind testing for a high-frequency extension that is always musical and never fatiguing. Compared to the previous Active SE Ethernet, the Atmosphere X offers a lower noise floor, higher resolution, and—most importantly—a more musically satisfying performance.

The Atmosphere X Series originally explored ways to improve UEF Shielding by positioning UEF Tech at key grid points along cable shields—a method now known as Matrix Shielding. This design lowers the noise floor and enhances clarity. Atmosphere SX refines the concept further by incorporating newly developed Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs, which improve the loom’s ability to cancel noise that could otherwise make high frequencies sound fatiguing. The result is greater resolution, a more holographic soundstage, and improved musicality.

After perfecting highly natural and holographic cables, Synergistic Research introduced a new high-voltage conditioning process for Atmosphere SX. This process applies a sweeping frequency plot for an extended duration. They experimented with dozens of frequencies in different combinations over a prolonged time period before landing on just the right mix. They even built a new Tesla Coil to handle the excess heat generated during long conditioning sessions. Once finalized, the SRX conditioning process created holographic realism and timbrel accuracy far beyond our previous Tesla Coil conditioning protocol. conditioning sessions.
