The Atmosphere SX USB was developed with a singular purpose: to deliver music with fine low-level detail and an emotional connection, without the typical compromises of digital playback. It employs proprietary UEF Graphene shielding with a direct-to-ground connection, achieving a dramatically lower noise floor than conventional non-grounded shields. A new conditioning process, first introduced with Blue fuses, ensures faster, more linear burn-in and enhanced performance. These cables are among the first voiced using updated test criteria, enabling ultra-resolution with exceptional musical purity and smoothness, alongside hallmark traits such as low noise, high resolution, and holographic realism. Additional innovations include a new conductor alloy and a refined shielding matrix, selected through double-blind testing for superior tonal accuracy, low-level detail retrieval, and an expansive, natural high-frequency extension. Compared to the award-winning Galileo LE USB, the Atmosphere SX USB delivers a more natural, dynamic, and holographic soundstage—all at roughly one-fifth the price.

The Atmosphere X Series originally explored ways to improve UEF Shielding by positioning UEF Tech at key grid points along cable shields—a method now known as Matrix Shielding. This design lowers the noise floor and enhances clarity. Atmosphere SX refines the concept further by incorporating newly developed Carbon Fibre UEF Tuning Discs, which improve the loom’s ability to cancel noise that could otherwise make high frequencies sound fatiguing. The result is greater resolution, a more holographic soundstage, and improved musicality.

Gold and Silver SX Tuning Bullets—Redefining Refinement

Synergistic Research has completely redesigned and re-voiced its Galileo Tuning Circuits, incorporating technology developed for the ultra-resolution, highly musical Galileo SX cable line. The updated Silver Bullets now deliver increased detail while adding greater warmth compared to the previous Galileo Silver Bullets. The Gold Bullets enhance musicality even further, offering liquid smoothness, a touch more air, and improved detail. For optimal results, it is recommended that any Synergistic Research cable first settle into the system for 72 to 96 hours without removal or handling, and without Gold or Silver Bullets attached. Listeners should then audition with the Gold Bullets first, followed by the Silver, selecting the option that best enhances musical enjoyment in their system.
