Product Description:
The SourcePoint 10 Master Edition builds on Andrew Jones’ celebrated concentric driver platform with a series of thoughtful refinements. Enhanced crossover components and improved impedance linearity contribute to greater overall performance, while a new mid/high frequency adjustment switch allows for more precise integration into a variety of listening environments. At its heart is a custom 10-inch driver, the product of years of focused engineering aimed at achieving wide frequency response, minimal distortion, and outstanding musical expression.

Precision-Tuned for Pure Accuracy
The SourcePoint 10 Master Edition offers a heightened level of precision and sonic control, building on the original design with refined crossover components and a user-adjustable tweeter switch. Paired with the groundbreaking Twin-Drive high-flux neodymium magnet system, these upgrades enable a remarkably lifelike sound signature that can be tailored to the listening environment.
At the core of this loudspeaker is the innovative Twin-Drive motor system. Rather than focusing solely on optimizing the frequency response of the woofer and tweeter, the design prioritizes reducing distortion within the drive unit’s motor structure. Unwanted distortion introduces frequencies not found in the original audio signal, so great care was taken to engineer a motor that minimizes these artifacts.
The Twin-Drive system generates a fully symmetrical magnetic field, effectively eliminating flux modulation and achieving exceptionally low intermodulation distortion (IMD). This level of technical refinement is a key reason why the SourcePoint 10 delivers such clarity and accuracy. It may not power a time-traveling DeLorean, but it will transport listeners with the performance they've been searching for.
All New Tunable Master Edition Crossover
The Master Edition crossover serves as the command center for the SourcePoint 10’s refined sonic performance. Designed with carefully selected, high-quality components—including polypropylene film capacitors, metalized-film resistors, and air-core inductors—this precision-tuned network divides the audio signal with clarity and accuracy. The result is an ideal frequency handoff between woofer and tweeter, promoting seamless integration and excellent phase coherence.
A standout feature of the SP10ME crossover is its built-in 3-position Tweeter Level Switch, which offers quick and effective high-frequency tuning. The “High” setting enhances treble presence for use in heavily damped rooms, while the “Mid” setting delivers the balanced factory reference suited to most spaces. For brighter environments, the “Low” setting gently rolls off the top end to tame reflections. Because the switch is integrated directly into the crossover PCB, it maintains signal integrity while allowing clean, straightforward adjustments to match the room’s acoustics.

High Quality Cabinet Construction - Braced for Clarity
To support its large woofer without introducing unwanted resonance, the SourcePoint 10 is housed in a robust, acoustically inert cabinet constructed from thick MDF panels with extensive internal bracing.
The top, bottom, and side panels are crafted from 1-inch thick MDF and finished with elegant real wood veneer, offering both structural integrity and visual appeal. The faceted front baffle, made from 2-inch thick MDF, is coated in a smooth satin black finish for a clean, modern look.
Inside, two strategically placed braces connect the top, sides, and bottom, reinforcing the enclosure and further minimizing vibrations. The result is a rigid, non-resonant cabinet designed to preserve the purity of the sound.

10 Inch Concentric Driver - Two Drivers, One Voice
Developed over 18 months by Andrew Jones, the custom 10-inch concentric driver at the heart of the SourcePoint 10 is engineered for exceptional clarity and impactful bass.
The paper-pulp cone spans nearly 2.5 times the surface area of a conventional 6.5-inch woofer, requiring minimal excursion to generate a large, dynamic soundstage. This limited movement preserves the integrity of the waveguide surrounding the tweeter, resulting in highly coherent sound with low distortion and no compromise in low-frequency performance.
Centrally mounted within the woofer is a 1.25-inch soft dome tweeter, designed with a wide-roll surround and a large-diameter voice coil. With excellent power handling and minimal thermal compression, the tweeter seamlessly crosses over at 1.6kHz and extends smoothly beyond 30kHz.
Together, the woofer and tweeter operate as a single, unified source—delivering sound that is both powerful and pristine.
Easy to Drive
Thanks to its 91dB sensitivity, the SourcePoint 10 performs confidently even with amplifiers as modest as 30 watts per channel.
With a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a minimum impedance of 6.4 ohms, it presents an easy load for most amplification, making it highly versatile across a range of gear.
Whether paired with tube amps or solid-state designs, the SourcePoint 10 ensures a compatible and rewarding match.
Multi-Faceted 2 Inch Thick Baffle
The front baffle plays a critical role as the launch point for the speaker’s output, and in the SourcePoint 10, it's engineered for both strength and sonic clarity.
Its sculpted, multi-faceted design minimizes diffraction, allowing the driver to perform without interference from cabinet reflections. The result is a smooth, even frequency response that highlights the sound of the driver—not the enclosure around it.
Easy to Use Magnetic Grills
Making the SourcePoint speakers more discreet for casual listening is simple and convenient. The fabric-wrapped grills attach magnetically, fitting seamlessly to preserve the elegant contours of the distinctive multi-faceted baffle. For optimal sound quality, however, it’s best to remove the grills during critical listening sessions.
Furniture Grade Real Wood Veneers
The SourcePoint 10 offers a choice between the inviting warmth of Satin Walnut and the sleek, professional appeal of Satin Black Ash. Crafted with furniture-grade real wood veneer, each pair features book-matched panels that create striking mirror-image grain patterns on both speakers. This blend of modern design and timeless elegance allows the SourcePoint 10 to complement a wide range of interior styles.
