At the heart of the ULTIMA 6 is John Franks' innovative dual-feed-forward circuit, offering lightning-fast response and effortless power. This design delivers remarkable dynamics, precision timing, and unmatched fidelity. Representing 30 years of development, this topology is Chord’s first entirely new circuit in three decades, specifically engineered for elite hi-fi systems.

The ULTIMA 6 features 16 proprietary TO3-style dual-die lateral MOSFET power devices, supported by ultra-refined drive circuitry. This design achieves ultra-low distortion and high-speed operation at an impressive 300 volts per microsecond. The output stage benefits from advanced error-correction circuitry, balanced input architecture, DC-tracking servos, and comprehensive temperature compensation for optimal performance.

Sharing the flagship DNA of Chord’s reference-level monoblocks, the ULTIMA 6 combines high-performance capabilities with enhanced practicality and affordability through its tailored power output.
